Support our MS specialist nurses
We believe that access to a specialist MS nurse can make a world of difference to people with MS, their families and friends. Making a one-off donation or setting up a regular gift can support people affected by MS in the UK, today.
"If I didn't have [my MS nurse] Sally, I probably would have given up by now. She's given me back my life, and the incentive to think 'yes I can do this'."
- Susan
MS nurses provide vital support with medication management, service co-ordination, home visits, mental health resources and so much more. They also save the NHS around £72,000 per year, per nurse in hospital and ambulatory costs. You can see more information on why MS nurses are so vital in our 'What differences do MS specialist nurses make' and 'MS specialist nurses' videos.

What we do to help
The MS Trust works with local NHS hospitals in areas where those with MS need them most, to ensure that no one is left to manage their condition alone. We recruit, train and pay for a new MS nurse for 15 months, then the NHS takes over funding for the post. With 103,688 people with MS living without fair access to MS care, we need to do more.
It costs the MS Trust £52,500 to recruit, train and pay for a new MS nurse for 15 months. You can make a contribution to our MS specialist nurses programme, and change the life of someone with MS today. You can make a one-off donation below or set up a regular gift (PDF, 625 KB).
A gift of any size makes a difference. Together we can make sure no one faces MS alone.
