How will this campaign benefit the MS Trust?
Each solicitor taking part is generously giving their time for free to support our work. Therefore, every penny raised will directly benefit people affected by MS.
Plus it provides a great opportunity for us to work with local businesses and raise awareness of MS in local communities across the UK.
Elaine Bow - DJM Solicitors
My name is Elaine Bow and I work for DJM Solicitors which is based in Swansea. I have worked for DJM for 9 years. By making a Will you ensure that your estate is distributed according to your wishes. It names your Executors who will be responsible for distributing your estate and it lists any gifts you wish to make to individuals or charities. Writing a Will is important if you have children, as you can appoint legal guardians to look after your children if you die while they are still underage. In your Will, you can also give clear instructions of your funeral wishes.
Supporting this scheme will help raise awareness of the MS Trust and the work that they undertake. The donations received will contribute to the fantastic work that they do.

I joined Murray Hills Solicitors in 2014 and became a Director in 2016. At Murray Hills Solicitors we know just how important a Will is as it ensures your estate goes to the people you want it to and not to those you do not. It helps to assist your grieving family and take away some of the stress at an already difficult time.
As a community driven Solicitors we strive to assist charities, causes and people wherever possible. The MS Trust carries out vital work providing support and information making an amazing difference to thousands of people affected by MS. Phillip Bazley - Gordon Dean Solicitors LLP
I am a solicitor at Gordon Dean Solicitors llp, which has offices in Norwich and Great Yarmouth.
I specialise in Private Client work, which includes Wills and Probate, and have done so for almost 20 years. During this time, I have seen how important it is to make a Will, both for the peace of mind of the person making the Will and for their family and friends after their death.
A Will sets out who your money and property (your estate) will pass to after your death. If you do not make a Will, the state decides who will inherit your money and property through the Intestacy Rules, which are often inflexible and unfair. A Will is also vital if you have children or dependants who may not be able to care for themselves and allows you to appoint guardians to look after or provide for them when you die.
I and my team at Gordon Dean Solicitors understand that your Will is one of the most important legal documents that you will ever sign, so it is crucial that you are happy with its content. We will take the time to get to know you and understand your needs as part of the Will writing process.
As a firm we take our commitment to the community in which we live and work very seriously. This is why we are very happy to be participating in the MS Trust 'write your will week'.
