Webinar FAQs
How much do the webinars cost to attend?
All of our webinars are free to attend but if you would like to make a donation to help the MS Trust continue to support people affected by multiple sclerosis across the UK, you can do so.
Is there a limit to the number of webinars I can sign up for?
Our webinars cover a variety of different subjects so you are welcome to sign up to as many or as few as you would like.
How long will the sessions last?
We expect each webinar to last about an hour although timings are not exact.
What will I need to be able access the webinar?
To get the most out of our webinars, you will need an internet enabled device such as a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. A stable internet connection is also required to allow easy access our webinar platform.
How can I join the webinar?
When you sign up for any of our sessions, you will be automatically sent a placeholder calendar invite via email.
As MS Awareness Week approaches, keep an eye on your email inbox as we will be sending out links to allow you to access the webinar platform around a week before the event.
I can't find the link. What now?
Everyone who signs up for a webinar will receive an email link no later than one week before the event. If you can't see an email from the MS Trust, please try checking in your spam or junk folder.
If you have checked your spam and junk folders and are still unable to find an email containing the link, please email comms@mstrust.org.uk.
Will other people be able to see or hear me when I join the session?
The platform we will be using ensures that no one will be able to see or hear you. Only the arranged speakers and hosts will be shown and heard by attendees.
Can I ask questions?
We welcome questions and there will be the opportunity for you to ask these at the end of each session. Your webinar host will be able to provide further information on how you can submit any questions, during your session.
I signed up for the session but can no longer attend. What should I do?
We understand that plans sometimes change. If you are no longer able to attend a webinar, please let us know by emailing comms@mstrust.org.uk.
I want to attend the session but am unable to make the time/date. Is there anything I can do?
We will be recording each of the webinars to ensure that everyone who wants to find out more about any of the topics covered can do so. All of the recordings will be available on the MS Trust YouTube channel after MS Awareness Week so make sure you subscribe so that you don't miss out!
These topics aren't relevant to me. Will the MS Trust be hosting any other webinars in the future?
At the moment, we are only planning to host five webinars for MS Awareness Week. The topics of these have been decided upon as a result of feedback from the MS community and questions we frequently receive to our Enquiry Service.
