Information for carers
Many family members and friends of someone with MS may find that they are taking on some aspect of care. Read about the support available to carers in the UK.
Social care
Social care provides personal and practical support to help people in their homes, in residential care homes or through respite breaks.
Advance care planning
Advance care planning (ACP) is the process of thinking, and having conversations, about the care you would like in the future if your health were to change.
Respite care
Respite care is short-term, temporary support that allows people with multiple sclerosis (MS), and the family members or carers who look after them, to have a break and a little time to themselves.
