On 9 September, our team of 34 runners took on the iconic 13.1-mile route from Newcastle to South Shields.
To date, the team have raised over £12,000 towards our work supporting people with MS today. We would like to say a huge thank you and well done to all you amazing runners who took on this challenge, and to our volunteers who helped on the day.
Jess Wright, fundraising officer at the MS Trust, congratulated the team:
The Great North Run is an amazing but tough half marathon, so you should all feel really proud of this incredible achievement. We are so grateful to you all for helping us support people with MS. We hope you all enjoyed a very well-earned rest afterwards!
