Terms and conditions

This is an application for MS Trust's London Marathon team and does not guarantee your place on the 2027 team. If offered a London Marathon place by MS Trust, I will agree to the following conditions…

  1. 1) I accept the challenge to participate in the TCS London Marathon 2027 on behalf of Multiple Sclerosis Trust, and I pledge to raise a minimum of £2,500 before Gift Aid by the required deadline.
  2. 2) I understand that I will be automatically allocated either a Saturday or Sunday place. Once allocated, I will be expected to participate on that day and may only request a change in exceptional circumstances, and facilitation of this change cannot be guaranteed
  3. 3) I commit to raising at least £500 by 31 December 2026 and £1,500 by 1 March 2027. I understand that if I do not meet these targets or demonstrate reasonable fundraising efforts, MS Trust may withdraw my place in the event.
  4. 4) I will be over 18 years of age at the date of the TCS London Marathon 2027. To the best of my knowledge, I am in good health and physically fit to participate. I understand that I am taking part at my own risk and will seek medical advice from my GP if I have concerns about my fitness.
  5. 5) If I cannot participate due to injury, illness or other circumstances, I will let MS Trust know immediately. I understand that charity places cannot be directly deferred or transferred to the following year.
  6. 6) I agree to return all sponsorship money to MS Trust by 25 July 2027.
  7. 7) I agree to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £75 (including VAT) for my 2027 TCS London Marathon place. (Please let us know if you require a VAT invoice.)
  8. 8) I consent to MS Trust sharing my name and email address with London Marathon Events Limited for the purpose of official event registration.
  9. 9) I give MS Trust permission to use any photographs or videos in which I appear for publicity purposes, including event reporting, fundraising promotions, and awareness campaigns. If I wish to opt out, I will contact fundraising@mstrust.org.uk.
  10. 10) I understand that it is my responsibility to complete my registration on the official London Marathon Events platform by the deadline provided (date to be confirmed).
