Terms & Conditions

By signing up to this event I declare that:

  1. I will participate in the Milan Marathon 2027 on Sunday 4 April 2027 on behalf of Multiple Sclerosis Trust.
  2. I will raise a minimum of £400 in sponsorship for MS Trust with the objective being to raise as much sponsorship as possible.
  3. I will return all sponsorship money to MS Trust by 4 June 2027.
  4. If I cancel after the 11 January 2026 deadline and MS Trust is unable to find a replacement, I understand that I will be responsible for covering the cost of the place, which is £120.
  5. If I cannot participate due to injury or illness I will let MS Trust know immediately.
  6. I will be over 22 years of age at the date of the Milan Marathon 2027, I can confirm that to the best of my knowledge my general state of health and fitness is good, and I understand that I am taking part in the Milan Marathon 2027 at my own risk.
  7. I give permission for MS Trust to use any photographs/videos in which I may appear for publicity purposes - this can include reporting on the event, informing people about MS Trust, advertising future fundraising events. Is there a minimum age for participants?

Where do I collect my race pack?

The bib and race pack can be picked up at the Milano Running Festival in the days leading up to the event: 

Thursday 1 April (from 4 pm to 8 pm)

Friday 2 April (from 10 am to 8 pm)

Saturday 3 April (from 9 am to 7 pm)

Precise information will be provided regarding the location and times of collection.

Is there a bag drop at the Milan Marathon?

An adhesive label (indicating your race number), which is provided by the organisation, must be affixed to the bag to store (only and exclusively) the clothes to be used for the post-race change. 

The organisation can only accept this bag for storage. It must be handed over to the maintenance staff in the special area set up in Piazza Castello where it will be kept and where the athlete can pick it up at the end of the race. It is not advisable to leave personal belongings (mobile phone, wallet, etc.) inside the bag. 

Accessibility Information

Please read the information below about taking part if you have a disability and/or require assistance on event day. 

Wheelchairs:

A maximum of 20 pairs of wheelchairs + support runners are allowed. Interested parties should send the application to info@milanomarathon.it and complete the dedicated online form. The wheelchair athlete is entitled to a free registration, support runners must register.

Cut off time

The time limit to complete the marathon is six hours, thirty minutes. Participants who do not complete the marathon in this time will be asked by the staff to board the buses for retirees or to continue running on the sidewalk in accordance with the highway code. The participant who decides to continue the marathon course voluntarily accepts and assumes all risks in the event of an accident, contact with vehicles, falls or damage to third parties.
