Discover the vast landscapes of Morocco’s Sahara Desert on a seven-day trekking adventure! Leaving the familiar behind, you’ll journey deep into the desert on foot, crossing sweeping sand dunes and remote terrain in one of the world’s most remarkable landscapes.
Accompanied by Berber guides and a traditional caravan of camels carrying your supplies, you’ll gain an insight into the culture and way of life of the communities who have called this extraordinary environment home for generations.
Each day, you’ll spend several hours trekking through the desert, taking in the changing scenery along the way. At camp, you’ll have time to rest and share stories with fellow trekkers. As the sun sets over the dunes, you’ll experience the stillness of the desert and have the chance to sleep beneath some of the clearest night skies in the world, far from the lights of towns and cities.

We understand that fundraising can sometimes be just as much of a challenge as the event itself, but our dedicated fundraising team will be there to support you every step of the way. Many people with MS take part in our treks without any problems, but this is a physically demanding event, so you’ll need to be generally fit and have a good level of mobility. We recommend speaking to your doctor before signing up to make sure the challenge is suitable for you. If this trek isn’t quite right for you, don’t worry - there are plenty of other ways to make a difference and support MS Trust. We'll keep in touch with you in the run up to your challenge, so if it looks like you might need to give your fundraising an extra boost, we'll be there to help. We can share fundraising tips and ideas, or even support you in planning a fundraising event.
We set a minimum sponsorship amount because we need to pay the costs of your place from the money raised in advance of the challenge. We know it can sometimes be tough to raise this amount before you've even started trekking, which is why we'll help get your fundraising off to a strong start from the moment you register.
