Hurry hurry…Gifts to the MS Trust will be matched £ for £ in the Big Give’s Christmas Challenge 2022 from 29 November to 6 December only.
Each year Big Give runs the UK's biggest match funding campaign, the Christmas Challenge. For seven days, it offers supporters of participating charities the opportunity to have their donations doubled, at no extra charge to them. Don’t miss the chance to take part this year between November 29 and December 6.
This year the MS Trust has an incredible pot of £14,276 available, which has been donated by generous community members and Big Give Champions. But there’s a catch! The only way we can unlock that huge sum of money is by matching it with donations from our generous supporters during Big Give week.
This means that we need to raise £14,276 in donations during the Big Give week, in order to unlock our matched pot of the same amount. This would give the MS Trust a total fund from the challenge of £28,552, I think you’ll agree that would be a fantastic Christmas present for the Trust!
Any gift made through the MS Trust Big Give donation form between 29 November to 6 December, goes towards unlocking our matched pot of £14,276. If we reach our target, your donation will be doubled at no additional cost to you. It’s the perfect opportunity to double the impact you have on the lives of people with MS.
In the last year alone, our information has helped a staggering 827,000 people with questions about multiple sclerosis. MS is a complicated condition, affecting everyone differently. Among the chaos of often conflicting and sometimes dangerous information on the internet, the MS Trust provides a single source of reliable, trusted, and expert information. Our MS helpline team are always a friendly and knowledgeable source of help over the phone, through social media, and by email.
8 out of 10 people with MS live in an area with an unsustainable caseload for MS health services. We’re addressing this with our unique programmes that fund new MS nurses and specialist Advanced MS Champions into the NHS, providing care where it is desperately needed. Health professionals funded by past donations currently care for 3,612 people with multiple sclerosis.
