Everything you need to know about donating in memory of a loved one or leaving a gift in your will, including our legacy jargon buster guide.
18 June 2020
The MS Trust will be holding an Estate Planning Live Talk in partnership with McClure Solicitors next Friday (June 26) to provide some guidance for those of you who would like to know more about how to get your affairs in order.
We know that it's a job that many of us tend to put off, so this talk will be an opportunity to find out why it's important, ask questions and tick it off your to-do list.
The online talk will take place at 1-2 pm on June 26 and will be with the Managing Director of McClure Solicitors, Andrew Robertson. You can register for the event here. Please be aware that your information will be shared with McClure Solicitors, not with the MS Trust. We appreciate that you may not want to register but still watch the talk, or may not be able to make this time and date. If that is the case, please email fundraising@mstrust.org.uk and we can send you a recording once the live talk is over. For those who do register, you will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout.
Following the talk, everyone is welcome to arrange an appointment to discuss your own personal circumstances in detail with one of McClure’s Estate Planning Consultants. McClure solicitors will write your will for free in return for a donation to the MS Trust.
Marissa Green, Individual Giving and Legacies Manager at the MS Trust, commented:
At the MS Trust we understand that writing a Will may not be something people want to look at right now. On the other hand, we have also noticed a considerable rise in demand for information about remembering the MS Trust in your Will. We want to make sure we are there to support those who do want to find out more. Thank you to McClure Solicitors and Andrew Robertson for partnering with us to offer this live talk.
