Saddle up for The London to Brighton Bike Ride 2025 with the MS Trust.
It starts in Clapham Common, South London, and ends on Brighton Beachfront, where you'll receive a hero's welcome. The 54-mile route is mostly on closed, traffic-free, tarmac roads.
The London to Brighton Bike Ride is on Sunday 15 June 2025 - a great way to celebrate Father's Day. You'll set off in waves every half an hour from 6am to 9.30am.
This event is beginner friendly. From first-time riders to cycling pros, we encourage everyone to get involved and we'll help you to prepare. With no cut-off times, you can ride at your own pace. There will also be ride pacers to help you on the event day.
We understand that fundraising can sometimes be just as much of a challenge as the event itself, but our dedicated fundraising team will be there to support you every step of the way. We will be there to get you started with our brilliant fundraising pack and will be in regular contact with support, advice and ideas.
As a MS Trust fundraiser you will also receive a free MS Trust branded t-shirt for you to wear as you train and during the event itself.
We recommend that our fundraisers use Just Giving to collect sponsorship online. It is quick to set up and you can easily share your page with friends, family, and colleagues to reach your fundraising goals. Plus, everything is seamless. The money you raise, as well as Gift Aid, is sent straight to us as the MS Trust so that's one less thing to worry about! You can kickstart your fundraising on Just Giving here.

You need to be at least 14 years old to take part in this event. Under 18s must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Typically, start waves of 1500 people leave every 30 mins from 6.00am to 9.30am. Start times will be sent out by the event organiser from the 19 May 2025. If you have not received your start time by the 26 May 2025, please contact us.
Your start time will be allocated to you based on the answers that you provide to the event organisers about your cycling ability and estimated finish time. Once these are allocated, they unfortunately cannot be changed. There are several checkpoints along the route where you will be more than welcome to regroup and meet with others.
Your rider pack and number should arrive in the post between 19 May and the 11 June 2025.
Yes – there will be several mechanic stations throughout the route, including the start and at each checkpoint. Mechanics have a number of spares and will aim to fix a malfunction free of charge but may need to charge for certain parts. If you encounter an issue (excluding punctures) while on the road and are unable to make it to a checkpoint, there will be an event control number included in your rider’s pack which you can call to request assistance. Small issues like punctures will need to be repaired by the rider.
There are a number of bike types permitted at this event – if you are unsure as to whether you will be able to use your bike, please email us to check.
You will have until six weeks after the event to reach the full amount. It may, however, be possible for us to extend this in some circumstances.
The friendly team at the MS Trust is here for you every step of the way - we’re here to offer general support, tips for fundraising and a sixteen week training guide!
