Impact of your fundraising

By supporting the MS Trust, you can make a real impact on the lives of people living with MS. With your help, we provide essential support and resources that aid individuals facing multiple sclerosis from the moment of diagnosis and throughout their journey. Whether its providing vital information during a confusing and overwhelming time or by funding and educating MS health professionals, your support will go a long way in making a positive difference.

The MS Trust works to make sense of MS for the 130,000 people living with MS in the UK and their loved ones. Our services are provided free of charge. We receive no government or NHS funding. It's only thanks to the generosity of people like you that we can continue our work. Together, we can make a real difference and ensure that nobody faces MS alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will I find out if I have obtained a MS Trust charity place?

Once your application is submitted, our team will review all applications and get in touch once there is an update on your application. This will most likely be around June 2024.

When do I have to raise the money by?

We know that raising £2000 is a big challenge and that you'll need some time to gain sponsorship from friends and family and to plan events therefore we ask that you have reached your target by 25 July 2025.

Is there an MS Trust post race reception?

Yes! We host our post-race reception a short walk from the finish line where you will be able to meet with friends and family, enjoy a shower, food and even a massage, and meet some of the MS Trust team.

How likely am I to gain a place?

The simply answer is that we don't know as each year is different!

Even if you don't get accepted in our first round, it is likely that there will be changes in the team and you might be offered a place later on. Please keep an eye on your emails, and stay in touch so that we know you are still interested in being part of Team MS Trust.
