Competencies for health professionals

The MS competency framework developed by Therapists in MS (TiMS) is a profession-specific knowledge and skills matrix. Available in a Word document, it can be tailored by individuals to meet the needs of different work setting and learning requirements.

A competency framework developed by MNDA, Parkinson's UK, TiMS (Therapists in MS) and the MS Trust which sets out the skills and knowledge needed for Allied Health Professionals working with people with progressive neurological conditions

The MS Trust is working with MS nurses on a competency framework for MS specialist nurses to create a resource for use by MS nurse team leads, managers and nurses.
