If you're interested in taking part in a clinical trial, discuss it first with your neurologist or MS nurse as they will normally be required to refer you.
They may also know of a trial that would be suitable for you.
Unfortunately there isn't a comprehensive resource that contains all the information about clinical trials that are currently being undertaken in the UK. However there are a number of websites that contain information about clinical trials (which are detailed below.)
Trials may be single centre (one hospital), or multi centred (a number of hospitals throughout the UK and sometimes Europe and the rest of world). The location where a trial takes place is usually dictated by where doctors with specialist interest and expertise and the appropriate resources are based. This may mean that even if you are eligible for a trial, the study centre may be too far away for you to attend for regular tests.
