Ageing well with MS: Research Update
Researchers from Alabama explored what it means to age well with MS, using interviews with older people about their wellbeing and quality of life.
30 March 2022
At the end of March the MS Trust conference was held again in person for the first time since 2019. As a fundraising team this was an opportunity to share our plans with the health professionals and was also of course the return of the conference raffle!
Ella, Paula, Lucy, and Jo were flying the flag for the fundraising team over the weekend. It was fantastic to have the opportunity to chat with so many of our wonderful health professional fundraisers, both past and future. There are some exciting plans for the year ahead and it was lovely to be able to discuss these with fundraisers face to face again.
The raffle was held on the second night and was a tremendous success raising a fabulous £1466! This beat the total raised in 2019 and could cover the running costs of our free MS Enquiry Service for 7 days.
We simple could not have done this without our wonderful supporters who generously donated prizes. Not to mentioned the generousity and enthousiasm of the delegates themselves.
We would like to thank Experience Days, Red Letter Days, Brora, and Arsenal Footbal Club for the excellent prizes they provided. Not to forget our individual supports who went out of their way to provide some wonderful prizes. I think it's safe to say that all the prizes went down a treat.
To everyone who support this event, whether by donating a prize or by buying a ticket, we would like to say a massive thank you.
