Ruth Green is a singer from Letchworth Garden City and supporter of the MS Trust. This Christmas she will be releasing a song, Share Christmas with Someone, with all the money raised going towards our work supporting everyone affected by MS. This is Ruth’s story.

The MS Trust has launched a new awareness pack to help teachers and pupils raise awareness of MS in their schools and dispel some common myths and misunderstandings around the condition. MS Trust supporter Jenna Chudasama teaches at a secondary school in Leicester and recently used the pack to deliver an assembly to students about her own MS experience. “I hope that I inspired others to live their life to the full, no matter what challenges they are faced with,” Jenna tells us.

MS is not a condition that just affects adults; although rare, it can happen in children too. These children are diagnosed and treated by paediatric neurologists. Here we chat to Evangeline Wassmer, paediatric neurologist at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, to hear what inspired her to take on this role and to learn more about the new group of specialist centres providing support and treatment for young people with MS.

Following an intervention by the MS Trust, Transport Scotland has now amended its criteria for people with MS applying for free bus travel.
