Covid vaccine advice for people with MS
Advice on the use of the vaccines in people with MS has been issued by MS organisations around the world. There are also concerns from NHS England that fake news about the content of the vaccines (eg that they contain pig products) is hindering take up by some groups

The technology used in one of the Covid vaccines might be adaptable to train the immune system not to attack myelin in MS according to new research. So far the research has only been in mice with an MS-like condition and human trial will be needed

Long-term benefits of DMDs studied
Taking a disease modifying drug (DMD) over a long period of time can reduce relapse rates by 40% and the need to use a walking aid by 67%, according to a US observational study that looked at records covering up to 15 years of treatment
