Sativex approved by NICE
Sativex, a cannabis based drug for MS related spasticity, has been approved by NICE as a cost effective treatment for the NHS in England. The ruling doesn't apply in Scotland where the drug has not yet be submitted for approval

Predicting long term outcomes of MS
Damage on brain scans within the first year of diagnosis with MS along with the level of disability seen at five years both help predict likelihood of someone developing secondary progressive MS, according to a UK study that has followed people for 30 years.
