NHS neurology toolkit launched
A new resource to help local NHS groups in England deliver faster diagnosis, treatment and access to specialist care for people with neurological conditions has been launched. The MS Trust is one of seven organisations involved in its productions

Fatigue improved in diet study
A diet that is high in fruit and veg and which excluded gluten and dairy reduced fatigue levels in 18 people with progressive MS according to a pilot study. The diet studied was developed by Terry Wahls, a doctor who has MS herself.

Making myelin cells act young again
Myelin producing cells age, stiffen and become less effective. In an animal study researchers in Cambridge have found that blocking a protein called Piezo1 rejuvenated the cells and made them work like young cells again.
