Switch to PIP affects benefit payments
Almost half of people moving from DLA to PIP had their benefits reduced or stopped, including a little over 10,000 people with MS, according to figures released by the Department of Work & Pensions. A slightly smaller proportion of claimants saw their payments rise. About two in three appeals against a decision were successful
