MS Trust fills the summer festival void with new fundraising event

With many festivals cancelled this summer, we are planning to fill the void, lift spirits and raise money for a very important cause with a new virtual festival fundraiser.
Taking place on Saturday, August 22, the ‘MS Trust Home Festival’ will bring together an exclusive virtual line-up of comedy, music, yoga, dance, arts and a whole lot more for supporters to enjoy from the comfort of their own home. Names announced to the line-up so far include stand-up comedian and radio presenter John Shuttleworth, fitness guru Mr Motivator, spoken word poet Mr Gee, Royal Ballet choreographer Cathy Marston and many more.
You can get your virtual ticket to the festival by making a donation, and prior to the event, you will receive an email with everything you need to enjoy your very own home festival. All the money raised will go towards our vital work supporting people with MS across the UK.
Jessica Wright, Fundraising Officer at the MS Trust, commented:
We know many people will be disappointed that their favourite festival has been cancelled this summer, but we hope this virtual festival will lift your spirits! It’s a chance to enjoy a fab festival experience from the comfort of your own home – that means no toilet queues! – while raising much-needed funds and awareness for the MS Trust. With the cancellation of many of our usual summer fundraising events, every penny raised from the MS Trust Home Festival will help ensure we can continue our work supporting people with MS today. So, what are you waiting for? Dig out your wellies, don some festival glitter and get ready for a whole of festival fun.
